Yogi Adityanath wrapped up his series of responses to the controversy by firmly asserting that there was absolutely no faecal contamination in the waters of the Sangam. He called the criticism a deliberate smear tactic, aimed at misleading the public and hurting the credibility of the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Yogi pointed out that the state’s environmental and health experts have been consistently working to ensure that the water quality is maintained to the highest standards. Additionally, the government’s continued efforts to promote hygiene, waste management, and water purification have made the Kumbh Mela one of the cleanest and safest large-scale gatherings in the world.
By concluding with this firm statement, Yogi Adityanath made it clear that the administration would not be swayed by baseless accusations and would continue to prioritize the health and spiritual welfare of the millions of people attending the Kumbh.
Yogi stressed that the government had taken every possible measure to ensure that the water in the Sangam was safe and clean for all. He further mentioned that the pollution control efforts, combined with natural water purification, have kept the Sangam water in its purest form, allowing millions of people to continue performing religious rites and rituals without concern.
He called for collective vigilance in ensuring that such malicious attempts to defame the Maha Kumbh did not succeed, urging the public to trust the government’s efforts and the centuries-old traditions that the Kumbh represents.
